Basically, the argument is that polling still has big long-term issues to deal with. And 2024 wasn’t perfect. But, contrary to popular opinion, the polls were about as accurate as you can reasonably expect or demand.
I’ll have more on how our polls in particular did + thoughts on that later. Don’t want to scoop the official company PRs. But, on a scale from 0-10 I’m feeling about 6-7 about this cycle. We did some great stuff, some not so great stuff, overall had more Ws than Ls — but some of both. Which is roughly what you expect from the first pancake!

A great deal of the level of contentment we have in life has to do with expectations. I think a lot of people have unworkably high expectations of polls, so this was a really good article to put out there.
